Newcombe Street Portarlington pipe burst and repairs

15 Mar 2025

Update:

Repairs are complete and water supply restored after the burst water main in Portarlington. Water may initially appear cloudy or white. This is due to tiny air bubbles in the supply and is common after a repair. The water is safe to use. The issue can be resolved by running the tap until the water clears. Newcombe Street heading towards Indented Head will re-open mid-afternoon. We thank you for your patience today during the emergency repairs and outage. If you need more information, please call 1300 656 007.
