Creativity shines for National Water Week 2020

08 Oct 2020

Primary school students from across the region have showcased their creative talents for National Water Week (19 – 25 October).

In total, we received 109 entries from 15 local schools for the annual poster competition, focusing on this year’s theme “Reimagining our water future”.

Access to clean water is hugely important to our daily lives, and it is down to all of us to protect our water environments and resources, and use water wisely to ensure a clean and abundant supply into the future. It was great to see our youngest community members embrace this year’s topic, and produce amazing artwork depicting what they think our water future should look like.

Congratulations to the following students and schools. Each student will receive a prize pack valued at more than $100, and the five randomly chosen schools will each receive a $500 sustainability grant.

Well done to all entrants and in particular the winning students below.
