Water quality testing

We test and maintain water quality from the catchment, at treatment plants, in storage basins and tanks, throughout the pipe network, to your tap.

We employ an independent laboratory to undertake comprehensive monitoring. The laboratory is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).

 

 

Testing sites

We monitor:

  • water sources such as rivers, creeks, reservoirs and aquifers
  • treated water at our treatment plants
  • distributed water through our network of tanks, basins and pipes, and at customer's taps.

  • Disinfection by-products
  • Treatment by-products
  • fluoride
  • turbidity
  • hardness
  • colour

  • heavy metals
