Your bill (residential customers)

We issue your bill quarterly (every 3 months). 

Your bill contains separate charges for:

  • water volume
  • water service
  • sewerage service

Owner-occupiers pay all charges. Tenants pay the water volume charge only.

If you have eligible rebates for purchasing waterwise products, these will appear as credits on your bill.

Paying your bill

You can pay your bill in a number of ways:

  • Direct Debit from your bank account (but not from a credit card)
  • online with POSTbillpay
  • over the phone with a credit card
  • by mail, with a cheque
  • in person at one of our customer service centres (cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card)
  • in person at a post office (cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card)
  • as an automatic deduction from your Centrelink payment

Moving house?

Whether you're an owner or tenant, please provide us at least 2 days notice when moving in/out of a new property.

This allows us to arrange a special water meter reading and ensure you are only charged for water used while you occupy a property.
