Your water supply: Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven
Water for Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven is sourced from Painkalac Reservoir on Painkalac Creek, 4 kilometres north-west of Aireys Inlet.
Aireys Inlet Water Treatment Plant supplies water to Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven.
Built in 1978, the Painkalac reservoir stores water from the creek before it is pumped to a dedicated treatment plant.
The water is filtered and disinfected, then directed to a storage tank for gravity flow to residents in both townships.
