Water: Learn it! Live it! has been developed by Victorian water businesses to support water-centred programs in primary and secondary schools.
Water: Learn it! Live it! contains facts, activities, black-line masters and planning advice on all areas of a water-focused curriculum.
Topics covered include:
- the water cycle
- water treatment
- water use
- river health
- water conservation
- stormwater
- sewage
- future water sources
- and more.
The kit includes learning outcomes linked to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards, an informative glossary, a checklist of milestones for water-wise schools and information on the Victorian water industry.
Water: Learn it! Live it! is available on an interactive, searchable CD-ROM. The whole resource can be printed in hard copy.

Living by Water: a history of Barwon Water and its predecessors
Living by Water: a history of Barwon Water and its predecessors was commissioned by Barwon Water in 2005 as an account of our 100 year history.
Historian Leigh Edmonds trawled through thousands of records and archives, interviewed dozens of staff, and sourced a raft of independent information.
The result is a compelling 400+ page account of our history, from the original Aboriginal custodians, through Geelong's early sheep-grazing history, the gold rush fuelled population explosion, and the evolution of a water authority to provide safe and reliable drinking water and sewage services.
The book is available in paperback and hard cover.

Mission H2O
Mission H2O is a fun and interactive online game about saving water around the home.
The game was developed by 80 students and 5 lecturers from Swinburne University's Faculty of Design.
The project took over 18,000 hours to complete, or the equivalent of one person working full-time for nearly 11 years.
Your mission: You have been assigned help the Wilson family save water. As you move through the house, explore each room to discover water saving tips and hidden videos. Play all 8 mini-games and submit your highest score to successfully complete your mission.
