Tours of our facilities

We offer guided tours of our many of our facilities, including major reservoirs water treatment plants and water reclamation plants.

 

Guided tours for community groups

We currently offer guided tours of:

  • West Barwon Reservoir
  • Wurdee Boluc Water Treatment Plant
  • Black Rock Water Reclamation Plant.

Other sites may be available on request. These tours are subject to availability and minimum numbers apply.

Please note:

  • Tours are for not-for-profit community groups (e.g. Lions, Rotary, Probus, etc.)
  • Tours are available during normal business hours only (not nights or weekends).
  • We do not charge for guided tours, but groups must organised their own transport (i.e. buses) and catering (e.g. packed lunches).
  • All tours are subject to availability.

Public tours

From time to time, we organise public bus tours around our region, stopping at significant facilities and major projects.

Bus tours are free, and usually fill up fast.

Public tours will be advertised in local media and on our events calendar.  

 

 

Open days

From time to time, we open some of our facilities to the public.

In the past, we have held open days at the Wurdee Boluc Water Treatment Plant, the Black Rock Water Reclamation Plant, and the Anglesea Borefield.

Many newly commissioned projects are also opened to the public.

Open days will be advertised in local media and on our events calendar.
