Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme The Victorian Government and Barwon Water are committed to helping you save water. The Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme provides residential customers with a rebate on their water bill for purchasing water-saving devices. The scheme offers a range of inside and outside the home products. The rebates scheme is administered by Barwon Water on behalf of the Victorian Government, in partnership with the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Rebate products announced in July 2007 will continue to be available until 30 June 2011. A new brochure and claim form are available for the rebate scheme which applies to products bought on or after 1 July 2009 until 30 June 2011. Rebate claim forms for products purchased prior to 30 June 2009 should be lodged with Barwon Water before 30 September 2009.
