Customer charters

Barwon Water's three customer charters inform customers about the services performed by Barwon Water and the respective rights and responsibilities of Barwon Water and of customers.

The charters strongly reflect the requirements of the Essential Services Commission's Customer Service Code, which specifies standards and conditions of service and supply that Barwon Water, and all other water businesses, must comply with in providing certain regulated services to customers.

Separate customer charters are available for customers supplied with:

  • water and sewerage services or reticulated water service
  • water by a separate written agreement
  • domestic reticulated recycled water service and reticulated water and sewerage services.

A Summary Customer Charter for customers supplied with "reticulated water and sewerage services or a reticulated water service only" is also available
