Barwon Water sponsorship program

Barwon Water has an extensive sponsorship program for community groups, schools, small business and sporting organisations across our region.

While a small part of our sponsorship program is monetary, the majority is in-kind sponsorship such as plastic and glass water bottles, and the mobile drinking fountain.

Barwon Water also has an extensive education program, part of which includes a water bottle for every new prep student starting school in our region.

Sporting club showerhead exchange

Barwon Water has an extensive water conservation program for community groups and sporting clubs across our region. Part of this program involves assisting clubs to exchange their clubroom’s showerheads for water-efficient showerheads.  One water-efficient showerhead can save up to 13,500 litres of water each year and save you money off your water and energy bills.  Download a sporting club showerhead exchange form.  Completed forms should be emailed to:  sponsorship@barwonwater.vic.gov.au or mailed to: Barwon Water Sponsorship, PO Box 659, Geelong 3220 or faxed to: 03 5222 6253.

Sporting clubs
Barwon Water assists many sporting groups and clubs across our region to supply their players with water bottles for training sessions and game days. Bottles are specially designed for sports teams and feature a no-touch "squirt top" for sharing between players.  Download sporting club water bottle request form.  Completed forms should be emailed to:  sponsorship@barwonwater.vic.gov.au or mailed to: Barwon Water Sponsorship, PO Box 659, Geelong 3220 or faxed to: 03 5222 6253.

Community groups and events
For community groups and fundraising days, Barwon Water can provide sponsorship in the way of water bottles for participants or as prizes or giveaways on the day. Contact sponsorship@barwonwater.vic.gov.au for more information or phone the sponsorship co-ordinator on 03 5226 2518.

Restaurants, bars and cafes
Barwon Water provides glass water bottles to restaurants, cafes and caterers in our region. To apply for some glass bottles for your establishment, contact the sponsorship co-ordinator on 03 5226 2518 or email sponsorship@barwonwater.vic.gov.au

Mobile drinking fountain
For large community events in the region, Barwon Water has a mobile drinking fountain available to make sure members of the public attending the event have access to drinking water.
