Schools education program
Barwon Water provides education services to primary and secondary schools and tertiary institutions within our service region.
Services include guided tours of Barwon Water reservoirs, water treatment plants and water reclamation plants and suite of educational resources for teachers and students.
An Education Officer is available to talk to students about the water cycle, water treatment, the sewerage system and water conservation and to advise teachers on curriculum planning, available resources and services offered.
Barwon Water also supports the Corangamite Waterwatch program that helps schools to monitor water quality in their local river, creek or waterway.
